Ashwagandha is one of the most energizing plants in Ayurvedic tradition. In Sanskrit, it means “smell of a horse,” indicating that from the root of this plant, one can derive strength and energy from an animal known for its endurance, power, and vitality. It is often called Indian ginseng due to its rejuvenating properties, although botanically, ginseng and ashwagandha are quite different.

Ashwagandha is particularly beneficial for physical and mental fatigue and combating the effects of stress. Regular consumption of ashwagandha contributes to greater mental toning, which is helpful for improving learning abilities, memory, responsiveness, and reducing anxiety, without causing drowsiness.

Physiological value: Withania, the active compound in Ashwagandha, acts as a strengthening tonic for both psychological and physical exhaustion, promoting increased vitality and balance.

Recommended daily dosage: 2 tablets twice a day on an empty stomach. Consult a nutritionist before use.
